Thank you for thisAttention, all women!
This is my body. I am female, 21 years old, 5’6”, and 168 pounds. I took this pic before my run today wearing a high compression sports bra, t-shirt, and runner leggings.
I am what’s known as pear-shaped. My hips are wide and my legs are thick. I will never be a slender model or a lean gymnast. I will never weigh 110 pounds or fit a size 2. I will have those hips forever because I have those hip bones. I will have those legs because I have those leg muscles. My bones and muscles are not something that can be dieted away or melted off on the treadmill. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I love my body. I have a great body. It does a lot of things for me and in return I have made an effort over the past year to return the favor. I could stand to lose another 20 or so pounds - I’ve got a nice little pudgie pouch on the belly and some saddlebags on the thighs, but what of it? I’m working on these things, and this is not a “fat” body. I have thick bones and strong muscles that I’m very grateful for.
So, my pear-shaped sisters, I hope you’re never uncomfortable with your curves. There is nothing wrong with this body. It is sturdy and able, yet classically feminine. Embrace your natural, genetic curves. And if you’ve got a pair of hips like two battleships, use em to gun down the haters in your way.
you look great, and you are FIT! i’m proud of you for living a healthy, happy life. enjoy your run!

naya rivera ab appreciation post ….one day
this is heaven!
So I’m pretty happy with my progress with past month.
Every monday and Wednesday at 6:50am I get up and do two levels of the the 30 day shred before school back to back. And every other day of the week I do the exact same thing except I run from 30 to 60 minutes before the videos.
I feel a big change in my body, I’m slowly transforming parts of me that I’ve loathed for too long. It’s come to a point where I’m excited to get up in the morning.
